We had read about an extinct volcano (Red Mountain) north of Flagstaff that had some interesting hoodoos, so we went there for a morning hike. We did have to beat a storm back to the trailhead though.

After returning to Flagstaff to watch the OU-texas game (and an OU win), it was back to Sedona. Storms again complicated hiking or even lighting for photography, but then gave us an excellent photo op with a rainbow over the rock formations.
