Today was one of the primary hikes of the trip, a 7+ mile hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point (and back) near Jenny Lake. A narrow line of showers developed and of course were right over a portion of the trail, and we got absolutely soaked. But the hike was still worth it. And as a very nice bonus as we hiked back down near Jenny Lake, a bald eagle was very near the trail and stayed there allowing us to take a number of photos. We finished the day at Oxbow Bend along the Snake River where other bald eagles were in flight.
